First ever mirrors-boat-sculpture

This unique boat sculpture made of mirrors and aluminum was named after the sculptor's daughter; Elodie.
- The curves of the sails and hull of a classic boat are sculpted with perfectly plane mirrors and straight lines of aluminum; so the similarity with classical rounded forms happens in the mind of the beholders.
- Sails usually catch the wind, reflecting some on the sailors. On this mirror boat sculpture, they catch the light of the surroundings; reflecting those colors and shapes in our eyes.
- A boat sculpture usually has fluid curves, and a rectangular stand. Inversely, this mirrors sculpture boat has rectangular parts, while its stand is fluid waves like water.
Is it really the only one in the world ?
If you search and research the web for a sailboat sculpture made with mirrors, you won' t find any. All we can find is small roughly shaped boats of polished aluminum ; and a big semi-polished stainless steel sailboat sculpture...
